OURTOWN has the goal of being a VOICE for the voiceless in society; those with hidden disabilities, those with intellectual disabilities that put them at higher risk in our schools and communities.

OURTOWN's intent is to collaboratively bring together through a collective decades of years of experience in education, dealing with Mental Health Services, law enforcement, and systems that are broken. We seek to improve response times with real actions in real time - preventing the runaway from falling into the wrong - and worse - situation; identifying early warning signs in partnerships with educators and community members; providing hope and safety and esteem through opportunities to learn job skills and money common sense. To show youth and at-risk teens that there's more to life than running away from it - risking ending up in a worse situation than they're trying to escape.
 
Through our PROGRAMS, we individually offer specific areas of support at each stage of high-risk, without the red tape; in fact, we will teach you how to kick red tape's ass.
